Our Story

A Journey Begun with Faith

Barakah Hajj & Umrah Travels was born from a personal experience. Our founder, having performed Umrah and witnessing the challenges faced by Sri Lankan pilgrims — language barriers, unreliable agents, poor accommodation — felt a calling to create a service that truly cared.

In 2014, we opened our doors in Colombo with a small team and a big vision. Starting with just a handful of families, we built our reputation one blessed journey at a time. Word spread, referrals grew, and today we serve hundreds of pilgrims every year from every corner of Sri Lanka — from Jaffna to Galle, from Colombo to Kandy.

Every year, we refine our processes, strengthen our partnerships with Saudi Arabian hotels and ground operators, and train our team to deliver a more exceptional experience. Our story is still being written — one sacred journey at a time.
